GEMS Live Community Guidelines

GEMS Live is an interactive social entertainment platform for livestreaming, face-to-face games, IRL content, and creation. These Community Guidelines apply to everything you do on GEMS Live — livestreams, games, posts, comments, messages, profiles, and all other interactions. They work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Our goal is a safe, inclusive, and welcoming community. Violating these Guidelines may result in content removal, feature limits, suspension, permanent bans, and, for serious violations, referral to law enforcement. We may act on violations manually or through automated systems, in real time.

1. Sexual Content & Nudity

We have a zero-tolerance policy for sexual content. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Pornography, nudity, or sexually explicit content of any kind;
  • Sexually suggestive poses, gestures, or performances;
  • Sexual acts, simulated or real, and content promoting sexual services;
  • Sexually explicit text, comments, or emojis in chat;
  • Sexual harassment or unwanted advances toward other users;
  • Any content that sexualizes a person, and especially any content that sexualizes a minor.

Sexual content violations result in immediate stream termination and may result in a permanent ban.

2. Child Safety

Protecting children is our highest priority and is non-negotiable. GEMS Live is an 18+ platform.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use GEMS Live. Accounts believed to belong to anyone under 18 will be removed.
  • We have zero tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits, endangers, or grooms a minor, or that facilitates such conduct.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately.
  • Any attempt to contact, groom, or arrange to meet a minor for harmful purposes is strictly prohibited.

We report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement. This applies regardless of intent or framing.

3. Violence & Dangerous Activities

  • Violent, graphic, or gory content;
  • Threats of violence against any person or group;
  • Content promoting or depicting self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
  • Dangerous stunts or challenges likely to cause injury;
  • Display, sale, or promotion of weapons;
  • Animal abuse or cruelty;
  • Terrorist, violent-extremist, or hate-group content.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis hotline. We remove content that promotes self-harm and may connect users with supportive resources.

4. Hate Speech & Discrimination

GEMS Live celebrates diversity. We do not allow:

  • Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics;
  • Slurs, derogatory language, or dehumanizing stereotypes;
  • Content promoting hate groups or supremacist ideologies;
  • Misgendering or deadnaming, or mocking people with disabilities.

5. Harassment, Bullying & Privacy

  • Targeted harassment, insults, threats, or attacks on other users;
  • Doxxing — sharing someone’s private or identifying information without consent;
  • Stalking or persistent unwanted contact;
  • Coordinating or encouraging others to harass someone (brigading);
  • Malicious impersonation of another person;
  • Spreading false, defamatory statements intended to harm.

6. Illegal Activities

  • Use, sale, or promotion of illegal drugs, or promotion of alcohol or controlled substances to minors;
  • Fraud, scams, pyramid or Ponzi schemes;
  • Money laundering or other illegal financial activity;
  • Sale of illegal or regulated goods and services;
  • Copyright or trademark infringement, including unauthorized music, video, or streams;
  • Hacking, phishing, or distributing malware.

7. Streaming & IRL Conduct

When you go live — including IRL streams — you must:

  • Wear appropriate attire and stream from safe, appropriate environments;
  • Not stream while visibly intoxicated or impaired;
  • Only film in places where you are legally allowed to, and respect the privacy and consent of people around you;
  • Not broadcast others’ private information or film people who have not consented;
  • Moderate your own chat and address violations by your viewers;
  • Not stream idle screens, black screens, or pre-recorded content presented as live, and not spam unrelated promotions.

8. Content, Posts & Authenticity

These Guidelines apply to posted content and comments, not just live streams. You may not:

  • Post content you do not have the rights to, or pass off others’ work as your own;
  • Post spam, misluring content, or repetitive unsolicited material;
  • Share false information intended to deceive or harm others;
  • Impersonate another person, brand, or GEMS Live staff, or operate deceptive or fake accounts;
  • Use bots or coordinated accounts to fake likes, views, follows, or other engagement.

9. Fair Play & Game Integrity

Competition on GEMS Live must be fair. The following are prohibited:

  • Cheating, collusion, or match-fixing;
  • Using bots, scripts, or automation to play or gain an advantage;
  • Exploiting bugs or glitches;
  • Account sharing or operating multiple accounts to gain an advantage;
  • Intentionally disconnecting to avoid a loss or affect an outcome.

10. Token & Monetization Integrity

Emeralds and Rubies power the platform economy, and creators can earn from likes, streams, and skill-based competitions. To keep this fair and lawful, you may not:

  • Trade, sell, or transfer tokens outside the platform, or buy or sell accounts;
  • Collude or manipulate games, gifting, or engagement to transfer value or artificially inflate earnings;
  • Circumvent redemption rules, fees, verification (KYC), or withdrawal limits;
  • Use fraudulent payments, unauthorized chargebacks, or stolen payment methods;
  • Use the token economy or creator earnings for money laundering or any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in reversal of transactions, freezing of token balances, loss of earnings, and account termination.

11. AI & Automated Moderation

Some content and accounts on GEMS Live may be AI-generated or AI-assisted and are provided for entertainment; they do not necessarily represent any real person or the Company. GEMS Live uses automated systems, sometimes combined with human review, to detect and act on violations in streams, chat, and content in real time. Repeated violations escalate enforcement.

Enforcement & Penalties

Depending on the severity and history of the violation, we may take any of the following actions:

  • Warning for minor, first-time issues;
  • Removal of the offending content;
  • Immediate termination of a live stream;
  • Temporary suspension or feature restrictions;
  • Permanent ban, including device-level bans;
  • Freezing of token balances and forfeiture of earnings where permitted;
  • Referral to law enforcement for serious violations.

Reporting Violations

If you see a violation, use the in-app Report button on any stream, post, message, or profile, and include details, screenshots, or timestamps where possible. For urgent safety concerns, email safety@gemslive.tv. Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team. Abusing the reporting system is itself a violation.

Appeals

If you believe an action was taken in error, submit an appeal through the in-app Appeal option or by emailing appeals@gemslive.tv with your username and a clear explanation. Appeals are typically reviewed within 48–72 hours.
